The Business of Portraits
Robyn Campbell is a photographer, writer, lover of life, mother of three quirky boys and constant observer of human life and the environment.
Once an aspiring painter who realised she couldn’t paint, she turned to photography, which has become a lifetime passion. That and business. Let’s not forget business.
Although her passion for business is mostly derived from her plans to spend the last twenty years of her life watching the sun set somewhere in the Mediterranean. And learning to paint.
Robyn became the youngest Master of Photography with the AIPP at just 21 and has gone on to win more awards then she has bothered to count, other than the APPA Gold Awards, which she has just 2. Oh but there was that Gold Distinction at State level. Also an Associate of WPPI and Master NZIPP, it all sounds impressive but really she’s just been entering awards for a really long time.
Guts, determination and a lot of failures in business have allowed her to gain the experience necessary to run a very successful and profitable company with her talented husband, Andrew Campbell. She’s always happy to share her wisdom with others so they too can grow their businesses and hopefully keep her company one day in the Mediterranean. And teach her to paint.
